I work for a vacation rental company, which is a really amazing job. I get to see a lot of neat home here at the coast. Seabrook is a town up in Washington that was started by the same person as the two neighborhoods that I work for. I was lucky enough to be able to travel up to Seabrook on a gorgeous weekend to explore and learn how they work up there. There are all sorts of cool things up there! Here are a few of the shots I came home with. The last few were taken in Pacific Beach, WA at a cozy coffee shop called Surf House. 1

Lincoln City, OR is filled to the brim with beautiful scenery and fun things to do. I’m always so thankful to be able to live in such a gorgeous area. When the sun comes out here in LC, there is literally nowhere else I would rather be. The unending fresh sea breeze washes over me and with every day I forget the smell and feel of the heavy city air. The constant dull roar of the ocean ever faithfully sings with each new day and with it a peace that is irreplaceable.

Moving back to LC, I found a lot of changes had taken place here in this little coastal town. For instance, Tanger Outlet mall had a total makeover and we now have a new movie theater, even though the Bijou still reigns ever supreme. One of the things that took me by complete surprise though, was this picturesque neighborhood nestled in the middle of the Nelscott District.

From the moment I drove into Olivia Beach, I wanted to immediately take photos. I never did until today though. About 30 of these homes are available for rent for surprisingly decent prices. Only a few blocks away from the beach, you can hear the ocean from every home. If you wanted to bring your family to Lincoln City, this would be the perfect place to do it. There’s a volleyball pit, a playground, fire pits, and a seasonal pool is in the process of being built right now.

Olivia Beach is the perfect place to fall in love with Lincoln City. Take a stroll on the shore, find a glass float to take home with you, find a few deals at the outlet mall, peruse the endless antique stores, and after all that come back to your cozy rental home, kick your feet up and enjoy time with your family.
